"The Power of Breast Imaging" is an international congress whose holding we are pleased to announce, which will be held from June 5 to 7, 2025 in Opatija. The congress brings together experts and eminent lecturers from the world of breast radiology, including renowned international experts: John Lewin, former vice president of the Society of Breast Imaging (SBI) and professor at Yale University, Leslie Lamb from Massachusetts General Hospital, a leading expert in the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in breast radiology, Michele Lorenzon, medical director of the Institute of Radiology at the University Health Institute of Friuli, Udine (IT).
The congress offers a rich program with a series of lectures, panel discussions and interactive workshops. The aim of the event is to advance knowledge and skills in the field of breast radiology, encourage the exchange of experiences and discuss key challenges in today's diagnostics, with an emphasis on the implementation of artificial intelligence in everyday clinical practice.
The central theme of the congress will be the role of radiologists in diagnostics and treatment monitoring, as well as the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration. Through detailed presentations, the congress will cover key topics such as: early screening, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, treatment planning and control, and the importance of axillary diagnostics.
